How to refer to the college of arts and sciences in my Penn essay?

As the title already says, I was wondering how to refer to the College of Arts and Sciences in my Penn essay. I can't figure out which is the best: CAS, the college, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions/opinions?

The first time I was referring to it, I would say the College of Arts and Science. After that I would refer to it as the college. And in my wrap up paragraph, I would probably spell the whole name out again.

Thank you! I wasn’t quite sure, but that suggestion makes a lot of sense.

Good advice, but in your subsequent references after fully identifying it, you should use use a capital “C” in “the College.” You’re using it as a shortened form of the proper name for the specific entity at Penn, and not to generically describe a college.
