HOW TO: reply to threads.

Hi everyone.

I'm looking around the threads in here and see some replies that aren't too helpful. Throwing out names of colleges doesn't do much for the person who requested the information.

Just some advice when you reply so that we can all help each other more:
-instead of throwing out one college name as a reply, try to explain why you think that certain college is appropriate for the thread starter or any other person with a question.
-Don't argue with another person! It's useless; however there is a fine line between debating and arguing
-When replying, think about what kind of info you would want back if you were the one starting the thread.
-Don't give out information you cannot verify to be true. (That person may apply to that school and find out that what you were claiming was 100%false! There goes a waste of money and time!)
-have fun, and good luck everyone!

If you actually took time to read this.. cheers to you.
IF you think this is stupid.. then you must already know how to make useful replies to threads!

If you want to get more replies. TYPE WHIR (Will Help In Return) if you can in your thread title. And people who reply can drop a link of their own in their reply, so that you can help in return. Just a tip!

WestCoast!

If you like it, reply to it with a BUMP!
If you don't leave it and let it get buried within the forums.
