My daughter just received an acceptance letter from Sewanee Young Writers’ Conference. They requested us to call to let them know whether or not she will attend the conference. The problem is that she is still waiting for Iowa Young Writers’ response which wouldn’t come out until 3/29. Does anyone know what is the best way to respond to Sewanee?
Congrats! I probably just wouldn’t call until after the 29th. Did Sewanee specify when they wanted your daughter to call?
yes. In their letter to my daughter, they said please call now and they underlined “now” to emphasize. They stated they have a long waiting list. In their letter to parents, they also said to call, but it didn’t say “now” and the full tuition is due April 4th.
