<p>I'm applying to Stanford EA and the deadline is Tuesday at 11:59PM. I still need to send my letters of recommendation and Common app teacher evaluations. My teachers have them written but I'm confused on if I should have them send them online (how do you do this?) or mail them. My biggest question is if I mail them, do they have to be postmarked by the deadline or do they have to be RECEIVED by the deadline? Thanks.</p>
<p>They DO NOT have to be received by Nov 1st. Your application and payment have to be received by Nov 1st.</p>
<p>Does your high school offer online? If they do, I would recommend online. It is much quicker. The college gets it quicker. The colleges prefer electronic instead of paper. The colleges get a lot of mail and it can take time for that teacher rec to get put in your file.</p>
