How to setup Wolverine access to check the application status ?

D filed her application online on 12/07/60, and was given Michigan ID through the phone. How can she setup up the Wolverine Access ?

Go to this website: https://friend.weblogin.umich.edu/friend/
You will type in an email address and then must wait for a verification email. Click on the link in the email, and that will verify your request for an account.

You'll be asked to create a password, and once you have done that there will be a link somewhere to Wolverine Access. Click on that.

Click on the link that says "New and Prospective Student Business"--this is where they will ask for the UMID. Once you've submitted data on that page, you're all set.

What are the 4/4 emails people are talking about??

4/4 has your UM ID which you need to create a "friend" account and check your application status through wolverine access. when did u apply saaaarah? I applied on Feb 1 and got my 4/4 email on Feb 23... If you still dont have it, call them up or go to http://umich.custhelp.com

Okay I think because I entered a wrong email for the username (by mistake) and still submitted my application from that username (even though I changed the email on the application) that I'll suffer now cause I just read from UMich's website:

After you submit your application, you will be sent an e-mail confirmation immediately after you press the Submit Application button. Confirmation e-mails will be sent to the e-mail address you registered on our site. In addition, your application will be time-stamped on our database with the exact date and time you clicked on the Submit Application button.

You will not be able to edit your application once it has been submitted. You must contact your school's admissions office for further assistance.

And that email that I registered with isn't valid so it explains why I didn't get an email after I submitted my application. Argh :( I guess there's nothing I can do but call them for assistance? I thought I'd never ever say this in my life, but the weekend is dragging on too long!
