Upon browsing here on the cc forum I noticed mainly three things about what Wharton likes: high sat scores (2250+) , leadership and a love for math. When I reflect on myself, I notice these passions of my own to be subpar. I only got roughly a 2000 and I assume my passion for math is not as strong as others. The only thing I have a leadership in is in tennis (captain). However I do have a serious interest in business. I competed and placed nationally in a business competition, interned internationally at a university for the business faculty, and help promote my in laws company. However all those activities occured this year, which might make me seem a bit inconsistent with my interest. What I'm concerned about is I might not be as well considered as other applicants (mainly the cc users). Is there anything I could do between now and application time (besides study for sat)?

Wharton is simply stringent. They accept the best of the best, whether that means winning an international music competition or competing in high level competitions such as Siemens, Intel, Westinghouse, etc. The Wharton school is as tough as HYP or maybe harder, and given your stats, you’d be much better off applying to UPenn CAS and then taking a good amount of Wharton courses

Agreed with the poster above. You can do Econ at cas and do just fine. There are lots of classes you can take at Wharton too.
