I was just wondering how to start a FBLA Chapter at my shcool? I went to FBLA-PBL Membership, but I couldn't find any forms for application to start a new chapter.

I have been wanting to know this as well. I used to be involved with FBLA, but then I moved states and my new school doesn’t have a chapter. Good luck, and let me know if you find anything out!

Hi, I’m from Socal, and I’m prez of a second year chapter that I founded

Heres some of my experience:

1.) Money

To the new chapter, money is always an issue. If you have a knack for fundraising, fundraise. I know people who make over $100 off a restaurant fundraiser. Our chapter kind of sucks at this, so we look towards grants. In teh past year, we have made roughly $2000 off grants, from corporations and the state. Every year, California gives an opportunity for a $550 grant among technical learning, which includes FBLA

2.) How to Register

First, try to go to a local OAT day. Secondly, it makes all the difference to find a local chapter that is willing to adopt you. They get the “Adopt-a-chapter” award and you get advice and occasionally books. Our adoptee wasnt nice enoguh to give us money or books, but the experience and advice definetly helped. Specifically, go online and do this:

SOmewhere along this sphiel, I realized that this link was probably all you wanted. If more advice is needed, just shoot me a message

First thing you have to have is a advisor who is willing to start a chapter at the school. From what i heard it is usually a business teacher, i could be wrong
