I’m not that good at pacing myself. I have a watch, but I don’t know how fast I should be going. If I slow down too much, then I don’t finish, so I get all paranoid that I won’t have a enough time, so I go quickly.

Before a test, I would usually make a list of things I have to watch and memorize that list along with the material. These lists typically weren’t long; they would just remind me of a few things I would keep forgetting in my homework. So if you know you have trouble with doing certain division, then make a list of those. And if you see those on your test, you will be reminded to work more carefully/not make stupid errors while you are working. Just a thought.

I hope you figure out something that works for you.

CAREFULLY analyze the question.Take your time, if you don’t finish, I’m sure they’ll let you finish it at lunch or after school. Persistence and Stamina is what I was taught. As long as you take your time, you’ll be alright. Not necessarily implying you rush, but just be careful.

^ When I didn’t finish the first quiz of the year, my teacher wouldn’t let me finish. Also, I am required to show all my work. That’s why I’m so pressured to move quickly.

I would go about studying for 2-3 hours at the very least, considering the courses you’re taking this year. Uhhh, In terms of breakfast I wouldn’t know. But of course no sweets or caffeine :D

Iono if it works for you or not, but I tend to have really weird tactics. If you want to try mines, search for a fine girl in your class, do the math in your head and pretend her back is the scratch paper.
