How to tell colleges you wanna double major?

Is there a way on common app and coalition that you want to double major at their university.

Someone please answer this. ;

Most colleges let you pick two choices on this individual application. You would list your two majors there.

Thx @concernedrabbit
However I don’t think you can put them on the coalition or common app. I been trying to find out how but nothing is there to indicate double majoring. So I think colleges don’t care what major you do or how many

They don’t care if you say you plan to double major.

Most colleges won’t care unless they admit to a major, in which case you have to pick one.
In the college-specific section, some may ask you about a major, others about two.
Typically you’d put the major you’re more interested in, or that make the most sense based on your high school profile and grades, and/or purported interests as per your essays.

Thank you guys for your help!

That is what I was going to do, yet I intend to double major in bioengineering and creative writing, and have been advised to select the department of engineering rather than the department of arts even though I am more interested in creative writing. Their argument is that it is more difficult to get into bioengineering or request a science-based majored after applying for a humanity. Is this valid ? Or should I apply with my intended major of creative writing and double-major once I get there .

I heard and researched most colleges do not put major into admisisons
