How to use direct hits vocabulary

<p>I'm sorry if there has been a post like this but i searched and didnt find anything. how did u guys use the direct hits vocabulary book (volumes 1 and 2). did you read the words over and over? made flashcards? Im not sure how to take full advantage of this book as i use to just study flashcards and i wasnt sure if this was the best approach for this type of book. </p>

<p>The whole point of using DH is to learn the words through his little stories. I read the book a few times which helped me remember a lot of the words. I also made flashcards.</p>

<p>I made flashcards as I read along, writing the definition as well as little mnemonics to help me remember the words. Then, when I was done reading, I just went over the flashcards every day. I hope that helps.</p>
