How to withdrawal without "semester-out" policy right now?

How to withdrawal without "semester-out" policy right now?

I think I really bombed chem3b...(I think I have a D+), physics8b...(I think I have a D) =(

(I am pre-med)

[UC Berkeley Registrar : Cancellation and Withdrawal Information](http://registrar.berkeley.edu/Registration/canwd.html)

Basically, you need to go to an adviser and tell them you would like to withdraw and waive the semester-out rule. They are going to ask you why you would like to have it waived, and you better have a damn good argument. The I want to graduate on-time thing is not strong enough. They’ll simply say you should have thought of that before you went and bombed two classes. So think long and hard before you go in there.

Also, they will ask you how will they know that you will be ready for next semester if they waive the semester-out rule. You better have a plan.

You need to have a really strong argument to back up what you’re asking for. Best of luck!
