How to work in the US with a Master’s in Molecular Biology?

Hi,

I’m European and my plan is to move to the States as soon as possible. Before doing that I have to find a job and get a visa. I’ve got a Masters in Molecular Biology so I’m looking for a job such as Medical technologist, research associate or pharmacist, basically something that involves bench work.
I applied to some jobs at Mayo Clinic and at Kelly in Phoenix but so far it hasn’t been successful. I have to admit that I’m not familiar with the best ways to find a job in the US so I would really appreciate to get some advices.
Plus I have noticed that many jobs require a licensure which I don’t have so that makes my searching even more difficult since. An other problem is that a recruiter has to pay for a foreigner (visa, paperwork…) while it’s not the case for an American citizen so I’m not sure that my project is realistic even though I’m really motivated.

I have a friend who is an astrobiophysicist? I believe that there was a chem or geo something in there… Maybe it’s astrobiogeophysicists or something… anyway, his job is to research how life in rocks in space can work… he’s struggling.
