Hi,

I was just wondering how useful minors in Chinese and Japanese would be for an intended ECE (electrical/computer engineering) major. I know there are opportunities for STEM careers overseas (especially in South east Asia) and am interested in moving/traveling there when I start my career.

I was told by the Chinese prof. that I could jump into FLC302 because I already had Chinese in high school (so I would only need that class and one more for a minor) and Japanese is fun for me so I think I want to continue to take it.
I'm a freshman at NCSU btw.
So, opinions?

Thank you!
