How wack is your sleeping schedule on school days?

<p>wow…i could never nap until late and do homework in the am. that’s crazy.
usually, i have about 5-6 hrs of homework a night. i usually go to sleep around 12, but blame that on my out-of-control procrastination and inability to focus. i think i have adhd or something. i usually procrastinate until 6. if i just did my homework consistently starting when i get home, i’d be fine…but i just make things harder for myself. :P</p>

<p>On a good day, I will be asleep from 12-7, starting school at 7:30 (Thank God for living nearby). On a day where an EC/event holds me until late (this happens more often than not), I will usually be asleep from 3 -7. </p>

<p>Then the really bad day when I go home and crush a nap for like 3 hours, then my schedule becomes erratic.</p>

<p>I have school until 2:45, then soccer until 5:00, then mock trial until 8:00, then I drive home, which takes about 30/45 minutes, then dinner and a shower. By now it’s 9:15 and I do homework until midnight, then wake up at 5:45 and finish my homework on the bus to school. I wish I got more sleep, but I guess I get a larger amount than most people on here. Haha</p>

<p>I had a really weird schedule like the OP during the first few months of the school year. I would come home, sleep for a few hours, wake up late and then do my homework and sleep at like 2 or 3 AM if I was finished. If I wasn’t finished, I would just stay up the whole night then go to school. </p>

<p>Since then, I’ve been trying to get into the routine of just doing all of my homework after school and going to sleep at like 11 or 12 and waking up at 6AM for school…</p>

<p>wake up 5.40, go sleep usually about 12. Hard weeks it’s an hour more maybe and if I have nothing important i go sleep at 11.</p>

<p>Wake up at 6 (live an hour and a half from school), school ends at 3, ec’s 3-4:30, sports 4:30-6, home at 7:30, homework till 1-2</p>

<p>I get home from sports around six, but I do a large portion of the mandatory reading for the next day on the train. I nap and eat dinner from six until seven, and then I do homework until two-ish and wakeup at seven.</p>

<p>School till 2, hang out with friends or nap till 3, work from 3:30-7:30. Piano from 7:30-8:30, shower/sleep/30 minute nap till 9:30. Homework till 2ish. Wake up at 7. </p>

<p>^that’s a good day. Sometimes I don’t sleep at all…or I go to sleep around 5. Damn competitive high school. </p>

<p>On Thursdays when I only work from 2-3 (weird schedule I know) I usually come home and sleep from 3-9, then do homework till like 4. I have a lot of tests Fridays so Thursdays are usually intense even though it’s my day off.</p>

<p>I can’t study without good nap. So, I sleep usually from 2pm to like 6pm and study up to 2am. Wake up at 5 30</p>

<p>So wack that it’s 3 AM here and I have school tomorrow… And still. No. Sleep.</p>

<p>Completely whack some weeks. This past semester I broke a personal record by on several occasions going several days sleeping 2 or less hours a night. It was pretty awful, I really don’t know how I managed the grades I did. </p>

<p>Nevertheless, that’s nothing to aspire to lol. This year my resolution is to sleep 6-7 hours a night at the minimum.</p>

<p>I have an internship after school three days a week from 2:30 to 6:00. On those days, it’s not uncommon for me to come home from my internship in the evening, sleep until 11 or 12, wake up and have dinner, and then do homework until 4 or 5.</p>

<p>One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to work harder at getting my homework done early, and to fix my sleeping schedule.</p>

<p>But, for all of my parents’ harping and insistence that “normal” people don’t do this, I’m a bit relieved to see I’m not the only one who struggles with their sleep schedule.</p>

<p>I tell myself I’m going to sleep by 10 pm every night. A few hours later after some more homework, it’s might… Wake up at 5:50 am.</p>

<p>Get home at around 4:30 PM, procrastinate until 1 AM or so, sleep from 1 to 6:45 :D</p>

<p>My schedule is weird cuz i get home at 4pm 3x a week then tutor and eat right after till 6 and sometimes i sleep till 8. Then i get ready for the next day (lunch, clothes, etc) till 10 and then i fall asleep anywhere from 11-1 am hoping my alarm will wake me up but doesnt(but even if it does i just go back to sleep anyways when i tell myself another 5 mins) so i wake up at 6:30 to rush for a bus that comes 20 mins later. </p>

<p>But on the other 2 days, i just sleep or do the work my tutor assigns me till 4 and do tutoring and all the other stuff i mentioned so i can sleep multiple times a day and still be tired the next day which annoys my teachers cuz i sleep a lot in class</p>
