That FRQ was insane. Even the wording was confusing on some, like the first one. Took me forever to figure out what they were talking about.

I omitted one on the MC noncalc because I realized I did a problem wrong but time ran out so I couldnt correct it. Answered all the calc MC. MC was really easy, I thought.

what do you think the curve will be like?

The FRQ was a monster. The MC was OK. I failed. I'll be lucky if I get a 2. :(

^^ i pretty much agree with everything said by the person above me.

the free response was a BEAST. i did every released free response from like, the past 10 years, and none of them were anything like the ones on there today. i pretty much wanted to cry. there's only ONE question i think i did right.

I concur. About halfway through t3h test, I realized that I didn't know a flying fish about Calculus. It hit me like a frying pan - straight in the face. :D

I'm giving up on mathematics.

MCs were pretty easy, the FRQs was death.

this makes me glad i took this test last year as a junior and i thought it was pretty easy then even when comparing that free response to other years

Free response was really good -- and by that, I mean easy -- I think I got full points on all of them except one. Haha, and that one I didn't do so hot on I literally had no idea. I'd be lucky to get 3 points on that one. All those problem sets paid off. I'm buying my teacher breakfast.

Multiple Choice - Calculator = =] PWNED IT [again]!

Multiple Choice + Calculator = =[ I didn't answer like 3 questions. Otherwise, it was good.

Haha. So I'm not bad at Calc. I'm done with it. This is freakin' great! I was going crazy over it, practicing calc problems till 1 am in the morning, and I guess I really didn't have to. My teacher gave us this Green and White book, and the questions there were so much harder. Hopefully I got a 5.

One headache over. =] 3 more to go. <3 Ti-89 titanium.

Non Calc MC was harder than the released one I did for practice.
Calculator MC was pretty easy.

Free response was almost an absolute disaster. I studied every free response (form A and B (when used)) since 1998 and never saw anything this hard.

free response was unusually difficult! i didn't know some parts of V and VI on calc FRQ part. i hope i still get a 4 or 5 (i think i may have scraped a 4)

Yeah the MC weren't too bad - at least easier than the practice problems I did. FR however, was another issue. I got a sinking feeling when I saw the very last problem (on calc) - my teacher conveniently decided that we didn't need to know those types of problems for the test, so we skipped that section. I'd be happy with a 50% on FR, although even that might be a bit enthusiastic.

I agree with the general sentiment on this thread...
MC was really easy (answered all of them confidently)
FR was difficult, though I thought about it and i have determined that I got at least 1/2 credit on all of them.
I can't wait until friday - I need to discuss one question that has been bugging me for the entire day.

^ just discuss it with your friends...

the people in the calc BC class were discussing it openly during the Physics class....

Le Petit Prince, eh, Naidu?

Ha, it seems like I'm fortunate to have taken this test LAST year. Too bad I still have Euro and two others left.

yes it is the petit prince -- nice catch....

the non calc MC was ok, moderately hard. the calc MC were really really easy. The Calc FR were REDICULOUS!!! I think i may have gotten like, 5 pts on those 3 questions. The nocalc FR were really easy though, i think i got 27/27 on that.

i didn't like non-calc mc. calc mc was easy. fr was ok. the last one was hard though. Hopefully i got 3-4 points on it lol

I flew through the multiple choice. I thought they were pretty easy, but whenever I think that, I usually end up failing.

The free response- some were easy as hell, #6 was a killer, because I was out of school for two weeks when we learned that chapter and I never had enough time to fully catch up. Our class did the ap questions from like the last 10 years and there were like 3 that were nothing like those practice questions.

It was definitely easier than Statistics, obviously.

I thought for both the free response and the mc, the noncalculator portions were much easier.

STORY: I got halfway through the mc questions and realized that I was marking the wrong number, so I had to go back and recheck all of them. Also, our calc class wore black shirts that say "BC Advanced Calculus." The room was split into AB and BC. The AB kids started chanting "A-Team" when they saw our shirts. It was funny- a little rivalry.

I know they give you an AB subscore, but do they give you a BC subscore? or is it combined AB/BC for the BC score? I was just wondering because the AB makes up around 60% of the test, and you need about 65% or greater to get a 5, so it would seem like you don't really need to know much BC stuff to do well. I misread a part of the question on the first free response, but other then that, I think I got them all right. If I did miss that part of the question, would it jeopardize getting a 5 for AB subscore?

i thought the MC were easier than i expected (after completely failing on 1998 released exam yesterdeay night), and the FR were average- i felt confident in most of them, but have specific questions.. 40 hours left. :P
