How will Brown look at my test scores?

So I know that Brown doesn’t exactly super score the ACT, but I know that they consider the highest subsections if you submit multiple test scores. I have a 32 for highest composite but I have a 34 super score now. So, since I’m sending two tests to Brown and they will only consider the highest sub sections when I apply, will it be more of a 34 or 32 or both? (If you get what I’m saying)

it will be a 32

@bubblepop12444 this is a really old thread… don’t know why you’re posting on it now. Anyway, I actally called admissions about this and they said that if you send in 2 tests they look at the highest score of each section and not the composite. The only numbers they’ll consider for admission are the highest English, math, reading, and science section, since the composite is only attached to a single test.

I am going through the Brown thread, and I wanted to clear this question up in case. I was also very anxious at this time since I had a 32 ACT from September and a 35 super score and people on CC were telling me that my ACT was too low, and not a lot of schools super score the ACT but super score the SAT (which is frankly unfair.) So, I also called the admissions office in December after raising my score and they said that they don’t “super score” the ACT at Brown but consider individual sections. They said that although they won’t recalculate the composite, they consider the highest individual subscores when reviewing applications. I don’t know what score they will most likely “see it as” if ind. subscores matter more.

@bubblepop12444 yeah, I think they mostly disregard the composite if you send in multiple test scores… that’s what I was told. I applied as an ED applicant and was deferred, but I’m 100% sure it wasn’t because of my test scores. I know many others who were deferred with 34+ ACT scores.

Also, don’t listen to most people on here about test scores. Their perspectives are very skewed as they gather information from results threads off this website.
