@pinkwhitered Oh nice! Haha I’m jealous. They’re my second last, because I applied to Stanford. Honestly, the biggest pain of waiting the extra day is knowing that I’ll have a bunch of people ask me about my decisions/tell me about their decisions on Ivy Day.
@OrchidBloom actually Stanford just announced that they will be releasing decision emails this Friday 3/27 at 3pm PDT. So ivies will be your last or :s
@Homeless2Harvard Yelp. Johns Hopkins and Stanford in one day. Should be exciting.
So the Ivies are officially the last schools I’ll hear from!
It makes me feel worried that I don’t know what a “likely letter” is.
*Wait til 30th to begin Lit assignment
*Pull all-nighter finishing said assignment
*“Wake up” aka continue staying awake for all of Tuesday, on which day I happen to be fasting for religious reasons
*Tired, hungry, return home at 4
*Stalk every college confidential page in history as I wait for 5 pm
*Check decisions
*5:30 to 9: choir choir choir
I wish i were t r o l l i n g
I’m going to sleep until at least 4:30 PM… Then shower until 5. Check my decisions… and then probably go back to bed to sleep off the sadness.
Maybe I’ll watch the Leafs game that day to get myself in the mood for disappointment.
The Leafs are easily the most miserable sports team on the planet. If I can survive being a fan of that team, I can survive a potential rejection from Penn.
Enlist the aid of the supervisor for a one time only change to the schedule (Dinner is at 5:05) so you can check your college results. Then you can share them with the residents and have ready made supporters or sympathizers.
If enough of them are mentating adequately, anyway.
@alissaanne23 I would definitely wait until the end of your service
I only applied to one Ivy, so it won’t be to stressful lol. Probably going to enjoy my spring break, whether it is vacationing, playing games, or watching videos.
I’ll be enjoying my day, because I didn’t apply. B-)
Having my future legacies swallowed.
Good luck all!
Get a hug from Baymax.
Part of me is hoping that they’ll go “surprise!” and release them tomorrow so I have no time to hype myself up about it. And half as long to wait.
@Homeless2Harvard Yeah my friend ended up telling me in math class today, and I freaked out. I’ll check everything on March 31st then haha. Hopefully I’ll have at least one !
Waiting until 5 PM on March 31 is going to be insufferable.
There’s going to be a lot of tears of joy or sadness.
I’ll be sitting in a corner pinching myself for one of two reasons. one: i got into an ivy league and I’m waking up from this dream. two: I’m pinching myself because I’m on the verge of suicide after rejections
@Pikidikitiki
Best response yet! =))
