Some are extremely friend, some are rude, other’s come across as snobs.
It varies, just as in day-to-day life.</p>
<p>Hmm. Probably a 5 – some (especially parents, I’ve noticed) are very helpful and manage to be honest without being obnoxious.</p>
<p>But I have noticed that some people seem rather elitist… like the kids who get a 32 on their ACT and insist upon retaking it, or the kids who apply to Yale, Pomona, and MIT just because they’re well-ranked without ever setting foot on the campus. (I’ve seen this happen.) And, of course, there are those who just act holier-than-thou about the whole application process, which is really annoying.</p>
