-Howard University 6 year BS/MD-

Yeah im a capstone Scholar (free tuition/room per year). Yeah the BS/MD program is what matters to me also. I cant wait to hear back for interview which should be in a week.

Thank you for posting the information on the Howard BS/MD program. I am also a Capstone scholar awaiting to find out if I will receive an interview for the BS/MD program.

Have you visited the campus and taken the tour? I went to Accepted Student Day and had a chance to see some of the facilities. Did you get to see any of the science building facilities?

I know the BS/MD semester schedule will be aggressive. Was trying to figure out how many classes per semester, on average, would be a realistic schedule during the 2-year undergraduate portion.

Any thoughts or information you might have would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hey Zygote7, I know that the curriculum for the Howard 6 year Program is very rigorous with about 20 credits a semester including summer classes. I think it also depends on how many AP courses you have taken and which classes you are able to skip but I would guess about 6-7 classes a semester for the undergraduate portion. Congrats on being a Capstone Scholar, hopefully we can be classmates in the fall. I also went to the Accepted Students Day last Friday, maybe I saw you. Yes, I did see some of the science building and got to see the medical campus as well.

Thanks Medlove! Congrats to you too on becoming a Capstone Scholar. The information you posted is helpful. If I can find out any other information, I’ll post it again.

Thank you again!

I heard we’re supposed to find out about interviews today (interview notifications) !!! - so nervous … good luck guys !!!

Did anyone receive interview notification yet??

In the 80’s, I was allowed to apply to the medical school as an undergrad sophomore. I believe it was called the BS/MD program then. I was not accepted, and probably for good reason. I DID get accepted after my senior year, and graduated both with very little debt. (I had an AFROTC scholarship, but HU is relatively inexpensive anyway).

I guess we’re gonna hear back sometime this week…

Just checked the mail today – no notification yet. Will let you know if I hear anything.

Hopefully we get them today!

If I were to guess…since everything seems to happen on April 1st, maybe you guys will here a decision by then. Good luck!

No letter yet :(

I check every 2 seconds !!! - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…
Good Luck Guys !!!

hopefully tomorrow

I think it’s most likely going to be April 1st too - although I can’t with stand the anticipation much longer …

No letter yet here. April 1st does sound about right. Have you looked at any sites for possible interview questions if we get scheduled?
