@nycguyy, i know i posted 2 phone numbers to contact howard in this thread if you go a few pages back.

Hi Guys! Anyone get a letter in the mail yet? I haven’t
Oh and does anyone know if Howard requires freshman to live on campus?

I haven’t received my letter. And it’s not required but you should live on campus for the experience!

Really? I’ve seen it on various college websites that it was. I’ve been trying to call the admissions but no answer

Is anyone looking into the Honor’s housing? I have not even visited campus yet and have no idea if I might end up at Howard, but I have heard that the honor’s housing is quieter with older student, but further away from everything…and with older students.

Have any of you seen the honor’s housing and the regular housing?

Edit to add: No letter yet from Howard, just the online confirmation of acceptance and scholarship and email with the same things.

does anyone know when accepted students day is ?

No word on ASD14 but last year’s was April 13th and 19th, so around that time. And is anyone travelling far for ASD? I’m in TN and I want to but I have to scrounge up some flight $$$.

Yeah I will have to go unless I get there before then because I have never been there! I am not sure that I will end up going to Howard, but with my scholarship I need to see it for sure. I am not too close. Do they let you stay overnight with a student? If so my parents will throw me on a plane and have me take the train or a cab to campus. If not, one of them will come too and we’ll get a hotel. I hope they announce the dates soon so we can plan.

@hsgrad Where do you live and what scholarship do you have? And I thought ASD was just a day thing, no overnight stay.

Do you know how much tennis experience do you need in order to walk on the team?

@shayclay I am coming from the south and my parents called about ASD because they are arranging spring break travel now and need to know where we will be going for college ASD visits. So they are contacting all the schools I have gotten into. I think they said ASD is April 4, 2014 at Howard but I am not positive.
I have the capstone scholarship (tuition, fees and room). But I am hoping to get my SAT/ACT score up to get board added. Also, a couple of friends and I are hoping to make NA Finalist later this month because then Howard will be a full ride, including a book stipend. Either way, even with just the Capstone, I need to visit and learn more about Howard.
@Gabbie you might be able to call the Howard tennis coach or ask your coach now (if you play already) to call and ask about walking on. I know Howard has good school spirit but don’t know how good their sports are.

Has anybody already decided for sure to go or for sure they are not going?

omg april 4th would be perfect even a week earlier ! i hope its true . but im also traveling , im coming from cali.

Did anyone recieve their letters in the mail. I just got mine today.

I got my letter yesterday.

I applied Early Action. My Bisonweb says:
Application Status: Decision Made
Decision: Intl Acceptance (offer)

I am confused. What does it mean? Also, I don’t have financial aid or scholarship tab in bisonweb. When can I expect to get scholarship?

Mine is the same, but it says acceptance (offer). I tried to call and email the admissions office, but no luck so far.

Has anyone who applied regular decision received any information yet?

@JohnGotti I applied regular decision and I checked my application status online and it said accepted. But I haven’t gotten any official papers yet.

@ChelsC what date did you apply? My app still says processing.

Where do you go to see if you’re app is being processed? BisonWeb? If so, where bc I can’t find it…
