How's Brown's undergraduate?

How's Brown's undergraduate?

Is is a hunting ground for major business or financial companies?

I heard that Dartmouth, columbia, and cornell are, but I am not sure if Brown is..

thanks for any response!

Brown doesnt have business, Cornell is redic hard to get a job out of cause everyone has super low GPAs, and yes Dartmotth (THe lehman brothers guy is an alum i believe) and COLumbia is yea, in new york so of course. Brown is a good school im sure its recruited as all top 20 schools are.

You make me laugh, as most business majors do.

Brown is a top 20 school? Okay!

Brown has no business school, that's a fact, that's because business is a vocational training program and some school don't like having such program. No disagreement on that.

However, why do you contradict yourself? You (biz majs) claim that as if business majors are the only ones that could get recruited (and people who do harder majors such as liberal arts or math won't) into top jobs (especially arguments on MBA want good job experiences people, so a biz maj could overcome the fact they're less diverse in terms of college major), yet, Brown has no business school.

Very intellgent.

abcboy, trolls aren't funny after their 50th post

Brown is definitely a top 20 school, and yes, every major ibank recruits their. all you have to remember is "dude, it's an ivy."

No, brown doesn't have a b-school (just like Dartmouth, Cornell, Harvard, and Yale) but if you are an econ major (or any other major that involves some quantitative thinking) you will be a prime candidate for financial services companies.

I know that Brown has a very close relationship with Citi and most of the other bulge bracket firms recruit there. A former partner from Goldman is chair of the finance committee this year and a lot of the other board members made their fortunes in finance so they make sure their school gets recruited by those institutions.

It depends. If you want to get a job as an Engineer at Google or Lockheed Martin, or join a company like GE or Ford as a "college graduate", Brown will probably not do as well as some top B-Schools or Engineering programs. However, if you want to join a top IBank or exclusive MC, Brown is as good a choice as any.
