How's Everyone Dealing With Waiting-Game Anxiety?

Hey guys!

Since it’s March, we are really entering into the home stretch of college admissions. Thank goodness for that, because I don’t think my heart can take this for much longer! I was curious how everyone else is coping with the waiting game. Personally, I’ve been rereading my admissions essays and frequently checking portals for updates. Also, chocolate has been my support system, as have long sessions of cardio (to work off the aforementioned chocolate).

What are you all doing to cope with waiting-game anxiety?

I really just stopped caring. I know that sounds hard, but it came to the point where I just got sick of worrying about this. I already got rejected ED from my favorite school, so I’m just going with the flow now.

This may sound mean, but simply don’t discuss or speculate about admissions. The decisions will arrive soon. However, neither the mail or other means of transmission are fueled by anxiety. What was the life altering thing you stressed about last year, the year before…Bet you can’t remember!

All my friends except me heard back from my top school SBU, is it because of my low sat score of 1230? My friend had a 1260 and got in. My anxiety gets worse and worse each day because April 1st is coming soon
