How's Haverford for females?

Haverford would, in many ways, be a good college for my daughter to look into. It's a good fit academically, she'd like a more cosmopolitan setting than the small Georgia town in which she grew up, and it's not far from extended family. But my daughter is leery of being at a "too small" campus, and she wants a balanced co-ed environment. Haverford's small size is moderated somewhat by its proximity to and connection to Bryn Mawr. But Haverford's a little over 50% female and Bryn Mawr is all female. Between the two, the combined student body would be over three-quarters female - that's female to a greater extent than, say, Vassar. Do female Haverford students complain about this? What's the culture on the Haverford campus as far as dating?

I wouldn't think the Bryn Mawr students would be much competition. A lot of them probably think there aren't ENOUGH females around.

Gadad,
D1 is a rising junior. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she was looking for the intimacy of a LAC. Even with a student body of 1200, it is over twice the size of her single gender secondary school...and she claims that she does not know everyone in the Class of 2008. No complaints about the ratio of males to females. A number of female classmates have long term relationships from high school. Perhaps because of her major, chemistry, there are more males in her study group. The frosh dorms are conducive to forging strong supportive friendships...by customs groupings and/or academic area. There are many social opportunities to meet other Fords.
