Ignore the EA comment... copy/paste.

nice, i see you got the maximum cum load, as opposed to the super cum load (were i stand), the magna cum load (where the rest of my boys is it) or the cum load (just the basics).

I believe TP summed it up.

LMAO. The Maximum Cum Load. Oh, God, prof. You are ridiculously awesome.

Ummmm haha...?

I took the NLE and got awards (golds) for it too :), thank god for Latin, since it gave me extra awards to put on my app. I have other stuff, but its nice to show you can win awards in the language department

Latin FTW. I took the NLE from New Zealand :D

In the end, it's all about Latin.

okay... first off the highest award you can get for the NLE is Summa Cum Laude or a Perfect Score... and guys it is MaximA Cum Laude.... ..... LOL

Wow. F- in Latin ... No offense

I'm a Classics major so these things tend to bug me...

Is it ok if you do not have supp recommendations? I just felt that it is better not to have them because adcoms would not want to read 20 pages of app material.

Waitn: Yeah, they're pretty useless, no matter who they're from.

Rofl at prophet

FYI, colleges see the national latin exam as a joke. it's a lame excuse of a measure for latin aptitude. some of the questions are just downright silly. my school personally shuns it like a leper.

"They'll cast you out. Like a leper!"

What, so having NLE awards makes it worse for you? Now that doesn't make sense to me...

I also love that we all shunned the OP (as in noone chanced him) hahaha. Keep it up CC.

It happens

Actually, some colleges (not amazing ones) offered me scholarships because I did well on the NLE, as long as I majored in Classics. Latin is not a very common HS language; so I am sure it would look good on a college app to have gold medals on the NLE. There are so many Latin haters on CC.

Umm. You've got the basic chance package. Unfortunately you have no hooks, and you're the typical middle class white kid... like most of us heh

Perhaps you can quickly pick up tennis again and get recruited in the next week or so? Harvard accepts a fair amount of your profile... so don't shoot yourself in the foot before it's too late.
