How's "Leadership" as your major?

what's a good major at west point? I have looked at the list of majors. And the two that I really want to take are Leadership and Management. Has anyone taken any of these 2 majors? If so, how are they?

What are your reasons for taking this and future ambitions?

You will have plenty of time to research it yourself and ask cadets already in those majors while you are there. You won't declare a major until early in your second year and most of your first two years you will be taking subjects that everyone else is taking regardless of your major (chemistry, physics, calc, history, economics, military movements, swimming, combatives or boxing, foreign language, military science, etc.). Any variation will depend on any classes your validate or the level of difficulty of the class.

I'm a management major. It is definitely not as academically rigorous as some of the other majors here. They call it management, but it really is business management. We are taking a lot of the same classes that a student in the Harvard MBA program is taking. I am taking intro. to management, marketing, accounting, business law, and other classes. So, I would reccomend it as a major.
I would say to major in leadership if you are sure you want a career in the Army, otherwise I don't see its relevance.
