How's my schedule?

My schedule so far is:

Math 1A
Chem 1A
Anthro 2AC

I'm waitlisted for:
Freshman Seminar, not very high on the list, probably won't get in
Writing R1A, not looking to get in, probably gonna drop it really soon

Should I add another breadth class or add another freshman seminar/decal whenever those go open?

2/3 unit Breadth classes are hard to find and a 4 unit course would put me at 16. Is that doable or should I just go with a seminar/decal to put me at 13 or 14 if I do 2 of them?

math1a isn’t too bad if you’ve taken calc in hs. If you haven’t, it will be time consuming, like chem1a. Anthro isn’t too hard, mostly memorizing and reading. You need at least another unit to get to 13, and 16 units wouldn’t be awful in your situation. But it depends on you.

Anybody know of any interesting seminars that still have open spots? I’m 5ht on the waiting list for mine

Anybody else want to comment?

I’m looking to add another breadth course. Also, I was wondering, do IB HL credits count for breadth?

I’m having the hardest time finding a good seminar to fit into my schedule and breadth courses are pretty hard to find too. Anybody with any interesting classes or recommendations would be very appreciated. I’m thinking premed, MCB, but I’m not sure and wouldn’t mind taking a class to try out some other stuff

Some breadth courses are 4 units but really easy and aren’t worth 4 units. I’ve heard near eastern studies 18 (arts/lit, historical maybe breadth) is an easy A as well as classics 28 (offered spring/summer), many of the classics courses are supposed to be easy and interesting (depending on your interests I guess).

Earth and Planetary Science 8 with Berry! 3 unit course.

My big problem seems to be my Chem Lab from 1-5 on Wednesdays. It’s always causing conflicts.

Has anybody ever taken PMB 10 with Staskawicz?

I think Chem 3A doesn’t require 1A. If you really like that stuff, you could add Chem 3A to your orginal schedule, though that’d mean be prepared to work hard and don’t add much more, if anything.

According to the course catalog for Chem 3A:

Prerequisite: at least a C- in Chem 1A, or 4 or 5 on the Chem AP test.

I can’t seem to find anything to fit my schedule. I need a TuTh course in the morning

Anybody have another good class to take?

SOMEONE HELP ME. I need a 2 or 3 unit course to add

Plant Microbial Biology 39D. I have no info on it or the professor who teaches it, but there’s room in the class. CCN: 70309

It doesn’t fit my schedule because of my Math 1A Discussion.

OK yeah, I think that’s what I meant, an AP exam can substitute. That means strictly speaking you could take both 1A and 3A concurrently. People often want to go through 1A again just because they’re premeds I guess.

If you’re doing all of these intro classes, why not just get some physics in there and take 7A? Unless all of that is full.

I just added History 7A to give me 16 units. How’s this schedule look?:

Chem 1A
Math 1A
Anthro 2AC
History 7A

And I have to do work-study. Is this too much, or should it be manageable? I’ve taken Calc AB before, but I know Chem will be a ***** and I don’t know anything about the History or Anthro classes
