How does it look? I know my APs aren't the best but it's better than no APs.

I want to major in broadcast journalism, so I don't think i'll need pre-cal and physics.

You’re majoring in pretty much the same thing as me, and it looks good. Physics is a waste of time if you’re going into journalism. I wish someone told ME that.

Physics isn’t a requirement at my school but the counselors make it seem like it’s very very important that you take it. It wasn’t till now that I realized that I don’t need to take it

Colleges really like to see a physics course in high school. I highly suggest taking one.

I realize and acknowledge your intended field of study, but you should also be aware of the classes colleges will be looking for. They want the toughest curriculum. I think your schedule is a bit weak in that you are lacking physics and a higher level of math. Assuming you are applying to some top schools, many kids will have taken AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC in high school, no matter what their intended major is.

Physics might be good for general knowledge, because isn’t it as a journalist, you wanna be able to know a lot about different things, so you can expand your writing?

Colleges wish to see well-rounded students. You may be majoring in journalism, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be versed in mathematics and the sciences. Colleges look at the whole, not just what you plan to major in and how the courses you have taken relate to that field.

Well in my opinion, environmental science is more interesting than physics, and I feel like the knowledge I’ll gain from the class will be more beneficial than physics (in terms of what I’ll be majoring in). And I’m taking AP Stat instead of pre-cal because, again, i feel like it’s more beneficial to what I’ll be doing.

if you’re majoring in journalism, you should take ap lit and comp or ap lang and comp. Classes that require a lot of writing. Lang and comp would be best because it is mostly non-fiction analization.

Honors english seems too… un-rigorous. The entire courseload seems pretty un-rigorous to me.
