The dining hall here isn't very good. We have a food court-type place which is better, but the lines are generally pretty big. We also have a row of different ethnic foods--from chinese to middle eastern to italian (pizza) to thai, which takes our card (non-meal plan). We also have what are called trucks, which are very well known in Philly, and have pretty much every type of food possible. Overall, it's decent, although nothing is remotely healthy.

I miss the food at BU, because it was absolutely incredible and gourmet (albeit expensive)--made to order pad thai, lobster nights, West Campus, etc. Soooo good.

The food at BC starts off great but ends with boring.

If you're not particular about food, you'll love it. If you are, then you'll probably have hundreds of dollars left on your meal card at the end of the semester lol.

I thought the residence hall food at UW-Madison was absolutely disgusting. They must not waste much food because it seems like the same left-overs popped up everyday in different forms. Probably the worst was the "fire and ice salad" at Carson's. They basically took fruit salad from 2-3 days before and put salsa on it :( On the plus side, they often had fresh ice cream from the dairy on campus. That was good.

At the other UW (UWashington), food is a little overpriced, but pretty tasty and semi-healthy. There's a lot of organic options, which I really appreciate.

Well, I haven't visited my school yet (already accepted, though) but in 80% of the reviews I read, food is mentioned--and they say that the food is absolutely DISGUSTING (yikes!!)

We're required to get meal plans and live on campus the first two years. Outside places aren't covered. Here are our options:

Carte Blanche (open dining 7am-7pm); 15 meal plan + 125 flexi dollars; 9 meal plan + 200 flexi dollars (flexi dollars are a one time per semester amount that can be used in the food court and the coffee shop.)
