Howdy folks I'm majoring in history(focus on US and European), I might try changing to anthropology if its possible or minoring in it later. So far I have been accepted into UCSB and USSC (rejected from UCSD, waiting on UCSD/Merced). I was wondering what people thought of UCSB's history program and staff. I live on the central coast so its only about an hour and a half away from home and I love Santa Barbara even though I'm not into partying. As for Santa Cruiz im not a stoner, liberals make me mad(althought most colleges are pretty liberal) and I honestly hear nothing but complains about UCSC from students going there and people who have visited. But anyways, soon I plan on visiting both campuses and checking out the campuses, dorms, etc.

But to the point. Any history majors going to or plan on going to UCSB and what do they have to say? I intent to do some research and ask my professors at my JC but just thought id ask.

Thanks,
Lucas
