Sophomore fall semester:
Calc 3
Physics 2 (Electricity/Magnetism) / Lab
Statics
Thermodynamics
Engineering Computation
18 credits.
All classes have a recitation component.
What do you guys think?

That’s really 18?

Shoot, I think that combination at UIUC when I was there was about 16 credits, so the fact that it is 18 for this guy is crazy to me on the other end of the spectrum, haha.

That is a tough load simply because it is all technical, and I know that early in my college career I hadn’t really learned how to study yet. In other words, be careful with that, but it can be done.

I think it’s doable. The only concern is that the science. Statics, thermos, physics. All looks physics to me. LOL
What you need to look at is how much free time is between classes (critical to whether you commute / live on campus), and how much time can you study on a daily basis.
The #1 tip is always stay on topics, and if possible, read a little before going to class.
