Fall Schedule

Fall 2008

What do you guys think of this Fall schedule for a M.E. major? I'm really scared the courses are going to be hard and a lot of work. I also would like a job from 3-6pm (most likely on MWF, but some hours at various nights too).

It will be a lot of work, but definitely doable.

physics, thermo, statics, and calc will probably just have a weekly hw assignment and a test thats not too bad if you pay attention and do the hw.

It's just a matter of the projects in matlab and graphics, those classes could either be cake or really lay on the work

Doesn't look bad at all. 14 credits? Am I reading that right? Physics is 2 credits?

19 hours a week in the classroom is ok, especially since I'm guessing you're going to be drawing an awful lot during the engineering graphics class hours. And there aren't too many gaps in your schedule either, so less time wasted. Working 9 or 10 hours per week is definitely manageable but you'll need good time management skills.

Personally, I don't like how PSU has so many courses set up in one hour blocks, but there's nothing you can do about that. I have always liked it when it's 3 hours and done for the week (or at least 2 hrs and 1 hr).
