HPEM is Honors Program in Engineering and Management
Honors Program in Medical Education is HPME</p>

<p>I don't think HPEM has any course requirement like HPME does. Other than the GPA requirement, all you need to do is to finish 6 quarters of co-op (many students in the engineering school do that anyway) and then work for another 2 years or so after graduation. In other words, they let you get into Kellogg as long as you maintain good standing and work for few years. That's all! Your undergrad experience is pretty much the same as if you weren't HPEM (well, other than the excited feeling you have everytime you pass by the Kellogg buildings, I guess. :)) It's extremely competitive to get in though and I think I heard/read somewhere that there are only few (less than 5?) spots given each year. I knew a girl from India that got into that and she was an industrial engineering major. She turned down Stanford (I would too) because it's KELLOGG!</p>
