HS Class of 2008- Cornell EDers

i took advanced physics last year, and am taking ap c this year. it's completely different in the sense that my teacher will write a problem on the board and give us an hour and a half and all of the stuff in the room to figure it out. it's really fun because we have a fun class, but sometimes so frustrating when the teacher won't help.

ya i'm in ap phys b.......its not that hard but my teacher is terrible and i have a MIT kid in the class (2 of them) that could teach the class better than him- one actually teaches himself quantum mechanics during the class

I prefer Art&Sci.

I'm going to use the primary/secondary feature:

1) CAS
2) HE

Good luck to everyone! :]

man talk about being a thread back from the dead

they probably didn't notice the 2008

ah dande! how are you? this was our thread :)

We should make one for Class of 2009!

EDing to CALS

Eding to ILR Woot, for other ILR'ies here I have a feeling the competition is gonna be rediculous this year. I easily see well over 250 kids going early versus the 189 last year. Good Luck all.

Mike

miktau: May I ask where you got those numbers from? I would like to know how many applied early to AEM last year. Thanks!

It's on the AEM website. Not that hard to find. Do your research.

Um actually I couldn't find it. The AEM website has a bunch of information about courses, deadlines, majors, and such, but can't seem to find anything on the specific AEM class profile or how many applied/were admitted. I wouldn't just ask without making an effort to look for it on my own. It would be great if you could provide me with the link, thanks.

My numbers cam from the ILR info packet when i visited. I dont have any AEM info im afraid.

there are 96 freshmen admitted last year, and the admittance rate is 12%, so that means there were 800 pp applied in 2007. AEM program is the most selective 4-year undergraduate business program in the states. Cornell always admits only ard 100 AEM pp per year.
