HS sports or nah?

Yes they do.

@skieurope NO, THEY DO NOT. They will place you in more advanced courses. But they will not give you credit. If you read the table, you will notice that they waive the class, but they do not offer credit. There is a difference between fulfilling a requirement and actually getting the credit. I also know several Penn students who didn’t receive any credit for any AP exam even with 5s. Even if you don’t buy that, switch out Penn for Harvard for example, who doesn’t offer credit unless you are planning to graduate in 3 years.

@AnnieBeats I’m not quite sure what part of 1 c.u. credit you do not understand.

Penn give waivers for Art History, Econ, Psych and Stat. They give credit (depending on score) for Bio, Chem, Physics, Calc BC, Comp sci, English Lang, English Lit, French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish Lang, Spanish Lit, USH, Euro, and WH.

@skieurope I’m not going to argue with you about it. They do not give credit for it. Not for any of them.

OK @AnnieBeats‌

However your own link disagrees with you:

Lol someone doesn’t like being told they’re mistaken… (read the pages and sorry, i just can’t help but comment on it- leaving the thread now, i think everything I can add to it has been said)

@skieurope I told you that I am not arguing with you about this. It isn’t relevant to the OPs concern anyway. I have spoken to SEVERAL Penn students and they do not accept the credit for any. End of story. Professor Tell was correct. What a school reports and what they actually do are two different things.

OP, go with Human Geo. You can participate in community sports or find a soccer club.

EDIT: Not to mention my very own child got into UPenn and was put off by this when she spoke to students at the school when she visited.
