HS student taking econ at penn, advice please!

Hey fellow quakers! I’m taking a econ 001 601 (intro to micro) at upenn this fall semester. I was wondering if you had any general tips?

I’m also pretty confused about this grading system. My professor said 20% A’s , 30% B’s, 50% C’s, and no mention about a curve. Is there some rule at Penn on grading? I’ve always heard different stuff about grading at Penn from students(avg, std dev, etc etc). Can anybody clarify?

Any advice or clarification appreciated!

that sounds like a curve to me...

that IS the curve:

20% A's , 30% B's, 50% C's
