HSSP or LSA Honors Program?

Hi guys, I am going to be a freshman at UM next year, majoring in Chemistry. I aspire to be an oral surgeon but have high interest in Economics also. Can someone provide me with some of the benefits for students in the HSSP program? Do they get easier access to internships? I already plan on doing UROP next year. Should I go with the Honors Program or the HSSP program?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Do HSSP. Honors Program offers very little benefits in terms of for pre-health students in comparison to a program like HSSP, which has a specific group of kids it looks for.
