im reviewing the barrons book right now and it has a giant section on human physiology. i was just wondering if it was even going to appear on the sat subject test because ive looked at some online practice tests and it doesnt even mention human physiology.

does it appear on the sat bio test? im talking like stomach / liver / circulatory system etc.

Yes it does appear. Animal form and function is the biggest topic. Fortunately, most of it is straightforward.

yes, you must know it! I’ve taken the bio subject test twice, and it appeared on both of them. Definitely know the heart and the parts of it! Other than that, it’s really only basic information (aside from the different enzymes - you must really know those!)

satman what do you mean different enzymes??

and how much of it is human physiology usually?

Probably means all the hormones.

yep, sorry, I meant hormones… like ALL of them. All of the ones in the brain (with the pituitary gland), the thyroid hormones (and the parathyroid), reproductive hormones (and the hormones for menstruation) , the digestive hormones, plus all the ones I’m forgetting…

@satman oh wow, i didnt know it was so specific. I was mainly looking at the big picture stuff for cell processes and stuff but i didnt expect it to go into specific hormones

ughh
