Study Plan for SAT Biology M Subject Test

So I may or may not be taking the SAT Biology M Subject Test on June 2 (haven’t fully decided yet, but most likely will) , so I bought the Barron’s book to study for it and just received it today. It’s a great book, but I don’t know how to use it. Since spring break is this week, I was thinking about studying one section each day, every day up to where I’ve studied in class (just took a test on DNA). For everything else I haven’t learned yet but will soon (evolution, ecology), I was thinking about studying that section the weekend after I take a test. For example, if I take a test on evolution on Thursday, I will study evolution again and take the multiple-choice quiz in the book on that Saturday. Is this a good study plan, and if not, how should I change it? Also, for topics in the book I won’t learn, should I study one topic each weekend after this spring break? For reference, I’m currently a sophomore in a college prep advanced biology class at my school

Also, for anyone who has taken the test, how much plant/animal/human physiology is on the test? My class won’t be learning physiology until the last two weeks of the school year, and I’m a little worried.

There is quite a bit of human physiology on the test. Usually there tends to be an eye or ear diagram.

The test can vary a lot. Some times it has very little on plants and others a lot more. Same with human physiology. Make sure you cover hormones and the nervous system. There are several questions on the test that you can answer without knowing very specific knowledge but by using critical thinking.

Since you are taking the Molecular you will get a curve however the plant/animal/human physiology will be in the first 60 questions and sometimes in the Ecology part of the test.
