Humboldt State Dorms?

Hey guys! Incoming transfer coming from So Cal here! Thinking of dorming but I don’t know much about them.

Can you guys tell me what the dorms are like at Humboldt? What are the pros and cons of them? And what is the nightlife like there? What do most students do on the weekends?

Also, would a student be able to get around without a car?

I believe you get a bus pass for free (part of your fees) but I don’t know how efficient the bus system is there. Where I’m from (Santa Cruz area), it takes forever to get anywhere by bus.
