I was wondering what the Huntsman admissions committee use to assess applications? Do they use both the Huntsman essay and the Wharton essay (my single-degree choice), or just Huntsman? I ask because there are some details I mention in the Wharton essay which are relevant to Huntsman as well, and so if they only use Huntsman, then I think I would want to repeat those details. If they use both, then obviously that would be repetitive and a bad idea.
The Why Penn essay is for ONLY your single choice fallback you are interested in (EITHER Wharton OR Int. studies, NOT both). The Huntsman essay is to talk about ONLY your DUAL (BOTH) interest in International Studies and Business.
And the committee for the dual degree uses both essays. They probably weigh in the dual degree essay more because they are looking for a “fit”.
Hey sorry to hijack the thread, but I had a sorta similar question. So the dual degree committee will use both essay, so regular adcoms will also look at both right?
