Huntsman Program

Hello,

I was considering joining the Huntsman program however I am a very business inclined person so studying liberal arts a 50 / 50 wont make me very happy I think

Can anyone give more insight into the program???

In the Huntsman program you'll be getting even more liberal arts than the regular Wharton folks - its basically a BS in Econ and a BA in International Studies.

<a href="http://www.upenn.edu/huntsman/curriculum/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.upenn.edu/huntsman/curriculum/index.html</a></p>

The Liberal Arts are good for you - its where you learn the stuff that will keep you sane 15 years from now.

what about the Jerome Fisher one?

who typically gets accepted to the huntsman program? i'm looking into a career in global development, so this program seems ideal.

GoCollege it seems strange that you are interested in BOTH Huntsman and M&T as these programs are extremely different. You have to do liberal arts in ALL curriculums at Penn - so even if you do Wharton w/o any joint or dual degree programs your curriculum will still be almost 50% liberal arts.

What I'm slightly confused about for Huntsman - the part of the title 'Intl BUSINESS' - I know you end up w/ a Wharton Econ degree but I thought Wharton was business oriented?

I'm also quite into Intl Relations and History - would I be able to take these types of classes within Huntsman under the Intl Studies concentration?

Thanks! :)

International Studies is cultural, not political the way IR is.

If you are concerned you should just call the Huntsman Program and talk to them about the curriculum to get the most accurate answers.
