My cub is interested in this program at Sonoma State. Any current students or alums with thoughts on the quality of the program? How does the program prepare you for grad school or a career in teaching? How does it compare to the traditional great books programs like St. John's?

Bump bump. Anyone?

I have done a lot of research on Sonoma State, and I have many friend who have gone there. People that participate in the Liberal Arts program seem to be very satisfied, it’s a great program to prepare for teaching. The program seems to focus on small classes. It also counts the classes you take there as general education requirements if you decide to declare a regular major through a different department. It’s definitely a great program, and Sonoma State is an awesome school!
