<p>On the latest USNews ranking, scores of HYP differ by a max of 2 points, and there is no difference in the prestige of their undergraduate programs. Then there's a 5-point gap between 93 and 98. After that, scores of Columbia, Stanford, Penn, MIT, Caltech, Dartmouth, Duke, and UChicago differ by 3 points, suggesting that there's no difference in prestige of their undergraduate programs. So why do people act like that it matters that Columbia is #4 and UChicago is #9? It's because that this board is filled with people who doesn't understand that at this level, where you go to school doesn't matter, while where you place among the students at you school matters.</p>
