HYP > Penn/Columbia/Brown..etc

Penn actually owns the "penn.edu" domain. If you go to to penn.edu you're redirected to Penn's website.

Penn University would be P.U. ;)

Like Princeton

Excellent point. Puck Frinceton. Wait, what am I saying - F u c k Princeton!

Yup. It's a brand management issue with Penn State. It seems that some at Penn thought Penn State used "PennState.edu" but they do not. So maybe Penn.edu won't be far behind.

HYP=Harvard Yale Penn. And if I had it my way, it would be Harvard Brown Penn.

another reason for penn's relatively higher admit rate is that it's a bigger school than the other ones.
it still is one of the top ten most selective schools in the nation, though.

IF only penn changed its name to Pennsington...lol..its be great... im so tired of people going..."ok so u got into princeton, and ur going to.....Penn...WHY?!?!?!!

lol at Pennsington...

Penn University is better though. ;)

no cuz then people will extend that to mean... Pennsylvania University..and go...o a state skool...boom bak to the same problem

calling the university of pennsylvania "penn" is the reason why it gets confused in the first place w/ penn state
hahah. as far as frosh year i def thought the "university of pennsylvania" was pennsylvania's state school... and when my friend's sister got in, i was like "uh... i thought she was a lot smarter than that"
and i confused northeastern and northwestern until last summer (visited and learned a lot about the school).
btw, these two schools became my top two choices this year when applying.

hm, also didn't realize there was a diff b/t BU and BC, but.. didn't care about either, so that's okay!

now now now, i think we all know... HYPP haha PENN INCLUDED > columbia/cornell/dartmouth/brown

wait...i thought the P in HYP stood for Penn...

j/k :) but Penn's better than all the ivies!!!

Well, HYP are in a different league than most schools out there. It is just that simple...they are in there own little stratosphere. lol

So what, Penn has better parties.

Everything is better at Penn than Y and P except prestige

Yale has better dorms. Considerably better.

Oh lord, Yale's dorms (drools). Last year for the basketball game we stayed in a dorm room that had a common room bigger than my entire dorm. It had a freakin' built in bar!

If you watch Gilmore Girls- that may be the only time in the history of College tv/movies that the size of the dorm rooms isn't grossly exagerated.

Yale's dorms aren't even 100 years old. They were built in the 1930s and designed to look much older.

Essentially, they're fake.

At least Penn is genuine with its 1960s eyesores ;-)

Yale's architecture is pretty.

Actually, though, the dorms that have not been renovated are pretty bad. I would say slightly worse than Penn's dorms. The renovated ones are great though.

It PHY Penn Harvi Yule

Well, I had my heart set on Penn...until I got into Yale two days ago. Now I'm confused. God, why does it have to be this way? It's either PPE @ Penn, or EPE @ Yale.
