<p>It's interesting how the acronym HYPSM coincides perfectly with the top five schools in terms of peer assessment, i.e. reputation. Penn has certainly improved dramatically over the past few years, but it has a long way to go before it will actually be regarded as equivalent to HYPSM.</p>
<p>Columbia, Darthmouth and Caltech will get to that position before Penn does.</p>
