Hypothetical question about hs and college gpa

<p>I had a 2.5 gpa in high school. Lets say I get a 4.0, do I still have a shot of transferring into like the top 30 schools. Also my sat is 1800</p>

<p>if your hs gpa was 2.5, it might not be from a top tier college</p>

<p>also, what year are you? generally, the deeper into college you get the more emphasis they place on college work and vice versa</p>
