Played football as a freshmen. Wrestled and went to state every year. Active member of my 4-H club 3rd year as president, 1 year as secretary. Class President 3 years. ASB President 1 year. Active member of my church community. Altar Server all 4 years. Currently a Junior. Planning on taking SAT early next year to improve writing scores.

Would applying early decision be a good idea? Thanks for your help!

OH! I’ve also been in several school plays and other theater productions.

Your course load looks to have met at least a bare minimum to be considered, but I don’t know what your GPA is. Your extra-curricular activities are fair, but not particularly compelling in that they don’t exactly point to something bigger you want to do with your life. Your SAT scores are definitely on the low end, most successful applicants are between 2300 to 2400. You will need fantastic letters of recommendation and an excellent essay.

Stanford, as well as the Ivies, are very high reach schools for you.

@Bridgewood is on the money. Also, your ECs are average.
