Yale.

Princeton is in New Jersey. Harvard is overrated. Stanford is too far away. Yale is just kinda left in the middle of my preferences.

Hey, I’m from NJ! What’s that supposed to mean? Lol

Harvard- For unparalleled brand name
Stanford- for beautiful campus, fun experience,
Princeton- for close knit community, greater access to professors (no Law/medicine/business programs, focus on undergraduate)

I wish I could live three times and go to all of them!

There’s another thread out there that tallies up CC’s “preferences” for universities. IIRC there was a surprisingly high number of schools that CC posters preferred over Harvard. Not that any of that data, or the data on this thread, matters much.

For me it was Stanford, for the full package. Then Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, although if you also considered MIT, I’d go for it over HYP.

Stanford all the way. Surreal utopia of geniuses, amazing weather/campus, and opportunities. Engineering = top notch. It’s like everything’s just perfect. Would have a hard time choosing between it and MIT.

Don’t really care for HYP.

Princeton

(tie) Harvard, Yale, Stanford

Definitely Harvard…
Then Yale.
Then Princeton, only because it’s closer to home…
Then Stanford…

Excluding location, Stanford would be 3rd and Princeton would be 4th…

Stanford!!!
Think about it , 70 degree weather year around, number 2 engineering program in the nation (HYP cant even come close), they have an awesome football team and students can go for free. They are known to have some sweat parties. They have a decent amount of grade inflation so if u decide to go to grad school you will end up somewhere great. They have power house grad schools which undergrads get to do research with. Everyone is chill, not that preppy. Best campus. Never have to be stuck indoors again because of the weather

Yale, Princeton or Stanford, they’re at the same level to me
I wouldn’t choose Harvard, I think it wouldn’t fit.

Yale University all the way – It’s fantastic for Poli Sci (my intended major) and not too shabby in the STEM department either (my other intention was to major in biochemistry).

Too bad I was rejected EA @ Yale I messed up my freshman year and thus I probably wasn’t competitive this year.

Ah well. Tufts is AWESOME and I probably will set my sights again at Yale for Law/Grad School maybe. :)
