I accidentally sent in my AP scores early

So I just now realize that I should’ve waited until after acceptances to send my AP scores. (Dumb mistake, I know :frowning: ) I didn’t send any scores for any of the APs I’m taking this year either. Do I have to resend the scores I already sent in when I send my senior AP scores in July/August? And what will colleges think since I sent these scores in early? Should I contact them?

The score report lists all AP’s taken, regardless of year taken, unless you’ve paid to exclude any, so past scores will still be there when you send out this summer.

For most colleges, AP scores don’t go to admissions. They go to the registrar, where they will just put aside for the moment. They won’t “think” anything.

No

I think you are fine. They probably won’t consider your scores anymore than they would have if you had just self-reported them, but they shouldn’t hold it against you.

If you are going to a school and have any thought of using AP scores for credit or advanced placement, you should send the scores to that one school again after you have all your scores. Schools might not award credit without an official report.

Thank you for the replies, @skieurope so I still need to submit my senior year scores in July/August right? And my other scores will be on that score report as well?

Only if you want credit
