I am also torn

I cannot decide which school to go to, I am torn between Davis International Relations or Santa Barbara as a Political Science/IR emphasis. I have lived up in Northern CA all of my life and I really like Southern California but I dont want that to be the deciding factor in my choice of which college to go to.

Although I personally like UCD, I would recommend you go to UCSB if it is in your interest to be in socal. You've lived in norcal all your life so UCSB may be a good experience. UCSB is known for their parties (and it is not an exagerration according to my cousin). If partying seems to be your type, go to UCSB. UCD and UCSB are two pretty different schools. Both can give you the PoliSci /IR education you want (UCD is close to the state's capital, keep that in mind). Are there certain things you want to be cleared up to help your decision? There are only a few days left. If I can, I would like to help.

I am not much of a partier, both Davis and Santa Barbara when I visited them have that dynamic college feel, ppl riding bikes and so on which I liked. Yea the proximity to the capital is nice for internships that is one of the major drawing points for me to go to Davis but then again I can do summer internships to make it work for me at Santa Barbara. Jason are you a graduate of Davis, if you are can you tell me a little about your experience there in college. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm only a high school student. I even got rejected from UCD despite my decent stats...I hope I get into UCD through my appeal. Please don't be discouraged from what I know though. I've visited the UCD campus and a lot of my close family members and friends attend UCD or have graduated from UCD. I also have a cousin that goes to UCSB ^^. I wish you the best of luck in your decision.
